Counseling for Pastor’s Wives in Florida

Do you often feel like there’s no one else you can talk to? Being the wife of a pastor can often be a lonely experience. And, devoting so much of your time and energy to the good of the congregation can leave you feeling depleted of energy and joy. It can often be difficult too when your husband is working so many hours to lead and serve the church. These difficult feelings can lead to experiencing guilt and shame that can often lead to depression.

Cara Soto is an experienced pastor’s wife and a gifted therapist on the staff at the Finish Well Group. She knows firsthand what emotional self-neglect can feel like and has a deep sense of calling to help pastor’s wives.

Cara believes that your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Her mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to wives of pastors who are seeking support and guidance on their healing journey. Working with her, you’ll find a safe space to develop self-compassion and rediscover joy in your life.

Cara will gracefully and skillfully come alongside you to help you overcome emotional distress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues that may be affecting your daily life. Her approach is collaborative as she seeks to empower her clients to take an active role in their mental health journey. Cara is in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She strives to provide accessibility and affordability by offering virtual teletherapy to anyone in the state of Florida, such as Orlando, Jacksonville, and Miami.
